I'm Back!!

I'm back! I had a great time in Orlando but I missed my family so much. I missed Tessa playing her first basketball game and all the cute things she did at the game, like holding hands with her oponent and running down the court with her. I missed Craig so much! To that I want to say Thank you to him. I got home, and the house was spotless, all the clothes washed, everything sparkling clean, new closet shelves put up, the van washed and vacumned and a new door handle on the van, WOW!! I was amazed, also there were candles burning and candy hearts laid out welcoming me. The house smelled great! I am so glad to be home. I learned so much this weekend, a lot about ministry, a lot about me, and a lot about what God is doing in the lives of children all over the world. I am excited to get back and get started!

Also, Happy Birthday Craig I love you!!

It's going to be a great day!!! 4 Basketball games and Ella has promised not to cry today, that makes for a great Saturday.

This is how her entire game went last week, it's gotta be better today, right?

ATTENTION

If things aren't going your way, just pitch a fit. That always makes it better.

This is my life....

So, last night I was giving Gracie a bath and washing her hair when Craig decides while she has shampoo in her hair to cut the water off at the road and fix the faucet in the other bathroom, so needless to say we had to improvise because I didn't want to detour him. I ran to the kitchen to get something and I hear screaming, Tessa has thrown a whole role of toilet paper in the tub with Gracie. I get the toilet paper out go back to the kitchen to throw it away, when I hear screaming again, I run back and Tessa has thrown her pull up in the tub and jumped in and so had Ella, 3 monkeys in a tub. So, not very happy I made everyone get out and go to bed at 7:00, well except Emma and Isaiah. The day just wasn't looking up any so I went to bed too. Not such a great idea since at 11:00 I was ready to get up. Not wanting to waste precious sleep time I made it back to sleep only awaken by Tessa, then Ella, then Gracie all in the bed and Craig of course, so it was a full house. Needless to say my back is killing me since I was forced to sleep in the fetal position all night. So, I think I am going to take some advil and I am locking my door tonight if I can get over the feelings of guilt!!

The Prayer Police

Lately Tessa has been in charge of saying all of the prayers at meal time, mostly because she won't let anyone else. So, everyone has to fold their hands bow their heads and she sits with one eye open making sure no one peeks while she says the prayer. If she catches someone peeking or not folding their hands she stops, gets everyone back in their positions and starts the entire prayer over, as many times as it takes! Sometimes this takes a while....

But she is just so cute!!
