I'm still here...

Well, yes it has been a while. Things have been busy lately. Basketball has started and along with dance,every night is packed full again. Not to mention our Saturday's are booked with basketball games. Yesterday, the kids were out of school and Tessa was on the rampage and decided to stick some tweezers in a light socket. She was fine, but the power was not. The den, tv's, hall and bathroom all went out for half the day. Luckily, Craig was able to fix it. Anyway, other than that things are going pretty good and no one has gotten sick lately except for me and Craig and we are both better now. Well, he's still carrying on....

Back to Life.. Back to Reality..

We are finally home!! Thank goodness! We were in Cartersville and so close to home I could taste it, little did I know the surprises that would await us. We pull up to mail overflowing out of the box, and 9 days of newspapers on the ground, a freezing house (Craig turned off the heat), a dead fish (the house was smelling awful), and the cable and internet had been cut off. I guess we forgot to take care of a few things... Anyway after taking care of those few things we were off to get the pups. Shannon and Matt kept them for us while we were gone, and boy do we owe them big time! They had dug 2 wading pools in their back yard and tore up anything they could get a hold off. They were very sweet about it though, Shannon even offered for the kids to come over in the spring and fill the holes up for them to swim in! Really they were enormous!
Anyway, we walked right back in to real life. It was a good trip, minus the driving. We got to see lots of family and see many different sights, and the kids really enjoyed their cousins and great Aunts (My Nanny's sister's). But I can't wait to get into My Bed....
