It's the most Wonderful Time of the Year

The biggest misconception about Christmas is that the kids don't know the true meaning. We go out and buy tons of presents, stress over spending too much money and everyone seems to foget why we are celebrating. This year however in our family it is so different. The kids have barely asked for any presents, they just want to know how we will celebrate Jesus Birthday. My heart was warmed so many times today as God reminded me that our Children really do know what Christmas is all about. First thing when I picked Tessa and Ella up from school they were excited, Tessa saw a barn and was thrilled that it was the stable where baby Jesus was born. Then Ella chimes in and is telling Tessa how God is everybody's Dad. Then we go to the mall to get haircuts and Tessa out of the blue asks the hairdresser does she know baby Jesus, which brought a smile to all our faces and opened up a whole lot of topics to be discussed. Isaiah and I went to the dump and were just talking about random things and he wants to know how we are going to celebrate Jesus birthday before we open our presents. I said what do you think we should do and he replies pray, and read the story of when Jesus was born. Wow! That boy really makes my heart smile. Then tonight Tessa starts singing Jesus was born in bed-a-ham, and some other stuff I really couldn't understand. I love Christmas and I love seeing Christmas through Children's eyes.

This is awesome! The picture alone couldn't bring a bigger smile to my face then add the whole story along with it and wow! Ya'll should make a movie - leg lamp and all - it would be great!! We love each and everyone of you! May your Christmas season continue to be blessed in new and exciting ways!
