This is Life
The last couple of days have been a whirlwind of chaos. I got up at 5:30 This morning so i would have time to pray, read my bible and wash clothes in peace and hope for a good day, i wanted a brand new start because yesterday was pretty rocky. Yesterday Tessa got sent to the "principals office" for pitching a fit and telling her teacher to shut up, how embarrassing. Gracie has gotten notes 2 days in a row now for not turning in her homework and talking to much in class. Everyone was in bed by 9:30 but Gracie got up at least 10 times after that. Then at 6;30 This morning it all started again when Gracie wanted to wear a low cut tank top (which is not allowed) to school, it caused an all out fit that lasted until we left at 7:10 to which Isaiah finally talked her into putting on what i had laid out, then she crys all most the entire way to emma's school (20 minutes away)because she thinks she looks ugly, and when she finally stops it starts all over again to find out she had left her tennis shoes at home and today was p.e. day ofcourse we had flip flops in the car but that just wouldn't work. So still in tears when we did get to their school the p.e. coach was standing outside so i explained the situation and he just nodded his head (i hope that meant yes she could participate in p.e.) and she went on in. So as if that wasn't enough, i was almost in tears by now myself, Tessa begins to get carsick and throws up, then a few minutes later ella got choked and she threw up milk, not really prepared for all of this i dig through the car and actually found extra clothes. On the way to school i try to talk to Tessa about please using the potty at school and to please obey her teacher and pick up toys when it is clean up time, but she didn't like that conversation and started yelling no, so i let it go not wanting a fit to arise while unloading at school. All this in the midst of finding out we had overdrawn once again this week in our bank account, taking up about a forth of the direct deposit craig got paid last night. With all this being said, everything happens for a reason (i guess) Here's what i have learned today, Emma and Isaiah are so responsible, Gracie needs to get to bed earlier, I should always make sure to have extra clothes for Tessa and Ella, and i really do need to get back on the Dave Ramsey plan and quitting using the check card, oh and i should really start balancing the check book :)
update: Tessa did good at school today, Yay!!!!

Girl, when I stopped by today I didn't even know all of that! This is the way life has been for us lately! God is going to take care of you and those sweet, precious children! I always remember Eccl 7:14 on these type of days! "When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other." This is so true Mandi! No matter what kind of day it is...God gave all of them to you and He watches over us each and everyday! I love you and will be praying for you! :O)
